ESCONDIDO FACILITY CONSTRUCTION <br />Staff request that the Board approve plans and <br />designs for the Escondido facility, and instruct <br />advertising for bids on the project, as approved <br />by U.M.T.A. <br />E. BUS SHELTERS IN THE N.C.T.D. AREA <br />Board consideration will be given to approving, in <br />concept, advertising shelters in the N.C.T.D. area, <br />and authorizing staff to arrange for presentations <br />to be made to the North County Cities and the County. <br />F. AMERICAN PUBLIC TRANSIT ASSOCIATION'S (A.P.T.A.) <br />INDUSTRY INSURANCE SERVICE PROGRAM <br />Statistics are presented showing the savings which <br />could be made if the District joined a program set <br />up by A.P.T.A. due to the high cost of liability <br />insurance experienced by transit systems throughout <br />the nation. <br />G. TRANSFER OF FEDERAL FUNDS <br />Staff is requesting authorization for the transfer <br />of Section 5 funds to pending Section 3 grants. <br />H.
